There is a toll to be paid to get on to Sanibel-Captiva Island and a park entrance fee.
Best Viewing
Just after sunrise until about 9am and late in the afternoon after about 3pm. During the winter, any time of the day is great for wading birds and visiting ducks. Be sure to plan to
visit as early as possible, during the peak season it can become very crowded.
We suggest renting a canoe to see the best that Ding Darling has to offer.
